After twenty-five years, Silva rides a horse across the desert to visit his friend Sheriff Jake. They celebrate the meeting, but the next morning Jake tells him that the reason for his visit is not to go down the memory lane of their friendship.

Pedro Almodóvar
Pedro Almodóvar is a Spanish Oscar-, BAFTA-, and Emmy-winning director and screenwriter. After moving to Madrid in the 1970s, he worked with theatrical groups and started shooting short films. He has made over twenty features, including Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (1988), The Flower of My Secret (1995), All about My Mother (1999), Volver (2006), and Parallel Mothers (2021). His latest short, Strange Way of Life (2023), starring Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
