Charlie Shackleton

Charlie Shackleton is a London-based nonfiction filmmaker working in film, television, radio, and immersive media. He is one third of the production company Loop. His latest feature, Zodiac Killer Project, premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, where it received the NEXT Innovator Award, and is currently screening internationally in cinemas and on festival circuits. His recent projects span radio (This Land for BBC Radio 4), short films (Camera Test, Lateral), television, VR, and live performance. Alongside his own filmmaking, Shackleton has worked as an editor and consultant on films by directors such as Kitty Green and David Osit, and has written and curated extensively on cinema and the culture of the moving image.
