Ľubica Orechovská

Ľubica Orechovská is a Slovak producer and distribution manager. She studied theater and film studies at VŠMU in Bratislava and spent ten years as the head of the Slovak Film Institute’s Audiovisual Information Center. In 2007, she began working at PubRes, a producer and distributor of live-action, documentary, and animated films. Recent Slovak-Czech projects that she has worked on include The Teacher (2016), Mečiar (2017), and Toman (2018). She also founded and manages the Bažant Kinematograf (Pheasant Cinema) travelling film festival, which has been showing films throughout Slovakia during the summer holidays since 2003.
