Pragueshorts for Kids

What difficulties might hibernation cause for animal friends? What all can Battery Mommy do during one working afternoon? And can a gassy belly ever be of use to a little fish?

You’ll learn the answers to these and lots of other questions in a selection of short films for kids put together by the Pragueshorts Film Festival. As in past years, we invite our youngest audience members aged 2 to 9 to the movies for a colorful program of animated and live action films from around the world that are sure to entertain them and their parents.

After visiting a film screening with your kids, you can take them to an art workshop inspired by the film program.

Herring Show

Dear children, do you know what herrings are? They’re fish dance professionals. We’ll introduce you to their group dance and their sense of rhythm, and swim out with them to create our own musical herring show.

Practice your rhythmic and musical abilities, hop into a fish costume, and you, too, can become a dancing herring. Join us as we move our fins.
