Check the Czechs

This year, our traditional yearly overview of the most interesting local short film production is comprised solely of student projects (Film and TV Schools of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Tomas Bata University in Zlin and AMU, UTB Zlin, Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague), yet some of them have already been screened at international festival. Retriever was shown within the Cinéfoundation section at Cannes and Peacock (Furiant) was selected into the Sundance festival competition as a first Czech short film ever, after beeing screened at the Toronto IFF and Karlovy Vary IFF.
