Marie Lukáčová
Marie Lukáčová is a visual artist and film director. Her films blend symbols from politics, mythology, and science while moving through various narrative frames in order to explore questions of an uncertain future. In 2019, she was a finalist for the Jindřich Chalupecký Award. Her short film Moréna Rex (2019) won an award at the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival, and she received further recognition for her short film Milena’s Song (2019) at the Oberhausen Film Festival. She has taught at FAMU and the ARCUS Film School since 2019.
