Daria has written her first manuscript about falling in love with a mysterious girl called “abi” (blue). The night flowers in her garden hide the secrets of a country that has turned love stories into routine crime scenes.

Maryam Tafakory
Maryam Tafakory was born in Iran and now lives in London, where she works with film and performance. Solo screenings of her work have been held at MoMA, Bozar, the National Gallery of Art, and the Academy Museum, among other places. Her work has also been shown at the Tate Modern, the Cannes Film Festival’s Directors’ Fortnight, the New York Film Festival, the Locarno Film Festival, and the Toronto International Film Festival. Her filmography includes the documentaries Poems & Stone (2015) and I Have Sinned a Rapturous Sin (2017).
