Grégoire Graesslin
Grégoire Graesslin grew up in the French Ardennes, where he made his first two short student films, Coquelicot (2007) and Entre ses doigts (2008). After obtaining a degree in cinema from the University of Paris VIII, he spent six years working in film production. In 2013, Graesslin met Laurine Pelassy, founder of the Les Films de la Capitaine production company. Their fruitful collaboration has given birth to three short films: Helix Aspersa (2014, shown in the Pardi di Domani section at the Locarno Film Festival), Junie (2021, shown at the Brussels Short Film Festival and the Namur FIFF), and Dammen (2025).
