Coralie Fargeat
Coralie Fargeat is a French film director and screenwriter. She gained international recognition with her 2017 feature film debut Revenge, for which she received awards from several independent film festivals. This was followed by her second feature, The Substance (2024), a satirical body horror film starring Demi Moore that was screened in the main competition at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, where Fargeat won the Best Screenplay award. It also earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Director.
