A gardener tends a small garden in a field overgrown with weeds. What begins as an innocent encounter turns into a fight for survival and an attempt to preserve the existing world at any cost.

Pola Kazak
Pola Kazak was born in Kursk, Russia. In 2010, she moved to the Czech Republic and began studying at the Miroslav Ondříček Film Academy in Písek. She initially majored in documentary production but switched to animation after her first year. During her studies, she focused on cartoon, 2D, and multiplane animation. At the same time, she worked as a graphic artist and illustrator. She defended her bachelor’s degree with the short film Toro!, which was based on Pablo Picasso’s line drawings of bullfights. As an animator, she worked on several films where she applied her experience with multiplane animation, doing oil painting for The Crossing (dir. Florence Miailhe, 2018) and sand animation for Kafka. In Love (dir. Zane Oborenko, 2024).
