Michał Toczek
Michał Toczek is a Polish director and screenwriter. Besides short films that have been shown and received awards in Poland and internationally, he also makes public awareness campaigns and commercials. Toczek studied directing at the Polish National Film School in Łódź. His short student film A Dead Marriage (2022) won numerous awards, including the Silver Hobby-Horse at the Kraków Film Festival, the Grand Prix in the Next Generation Competition at the Brussels Short Film Festival, plus several other prizes and honorable mentions. It was also shown at various other international festivals, among them in Tel Aviv, Busan, Palm Springs, and Tirana.
