Guil Sela
Guil Sela is a French writer-director and photographer. His debut film, La Flamme Olympique (2023), was screened in the Focus WIP section of the Cannes Film Festival, at Cinema Jove, and in Edinburgh. In 2023, he embarked on the filming of Santa Maria Kyoko and Montsouris Park, the first a drama and the second a comedy – or perhaps the other way around. Simultaneously, he is engaged in crafting a new short film and his inaugural feature-length work. Both projects aim to continue his exploration, infused with humor and melancholy, of the irony that underlies our tragic daily lives.
