Samuel Suffren

Samuel Suffren is a Haitian director and producer. Dreams like Paper Boats (2024) is the second short film in a trilogy that he is working on. The first, Agwe (2022), was shown at Locarno and won the best diaspora film at FESPACO. He is currently developing a feature documentary, Lòtbò, and his first fiction feature, Je m’appelle Nina Shakira.
