Viv Li

Viv Li is a Berlin-based Chinese filmmaker and artist. She is an alumna of the Sundance Institute, Berlinale Talents, Chicken & Eggs, Nipkow Fellowship, and IDFAcademy, among others. She holds an MA in documentary filmmaking from DocNomads and a BA in drama and film from the University of Manchester. Her work often deals with alienation, migration, and identity, and focuses on the sensitivity and tangibility of moments, the unspeakable nature of human relationships, and the humor produced by self-awareness.
