Hurikán rushes to save his favorite beer stand from closure by fetching a new keg to impress the bartender he has a crush on. In a wild Prague district, he faces cops, robbers, and his own thirst.

Jan Saska
Jan Saska is a Czech director of animated films and author of comic books. Since premiering at the Director’s Fortnight in Cannes in 2016, his FAMU graduation film Happy End (2015), a black comedy about death, has been screened at numerous film festivals worldwide, earning more than twenty-five awards and being shortlisted for the 2017 Oscars. Saska’s latest project, Hurikán, is a short comedy based on his original comic character of the same name. Along with his longtime collaborators Marek Pokorný and Vojtěch Kiss, he is part of True Lovers, an art group dedicated to comics and animation.
