Inés works as a seamstress in a sweatshop where pregnancy tests are periodically administered. When she becomes pregnant, she is sure that her condition will get her fired, so she does everything she can to keep it a secret.

Selma Cervantes
Selma Cervantes is a Mexican director who became a member of the Mexican Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences after receiving a nomination for Best Short Film for her project Manchester Acatitla (2021). Her second short film, Sweatshop Girl, premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival.
