The Ticket

A young boy has to travel across the city of Sofia, Bulgaria, to conduct a very important transaction. But the journey will be arduous. He can only take the bus, his destination is on the other side of town, and it will take him all day. And he only has one ticket to get through the multiple stops it requires.

Kevork Aslanyan

Kevork Aslanyan was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. He started his career as a musician (rhythm guitarist in a rock/punk/metal band), but soon realized that music was not his thing. He then went to film school, where he was fascinated by computers and what they can do. He received his BA in film and television editing from Sofia’s National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 2009. In 2012, he graduated from the London Film Academy as a writer and director. His directorial debut was the short film Getting Fat in a Healthy Way (2015).
