The Waiting
Researcher Karen Lips has spent several years living in a tiny little shack in Costa Rica in order to observe frogs. When she leaves the cloud forest for a short time, the frogs are gone upon her return. All of them. Karen sets out to find them – and encounters a horrible truth.

Volker Schlecht
Volker Schlecht is a Berlin-based illustrator, artist, filmmaker, and founder of the Drushba Pankow illustration and graphic design label. He is also a professor of design basics at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Dessau. As director, he has made the short films Pink Street (1997), Nothing Else (2000), Germania Wurst (2008), Between the Chairs (2017), and Revolving Machine (2021), among others.
