Valeria Hofmann
Valeria Hofmann is a screenwriter and director based in Santiago. She is part of the documentary collective MAFI, which has presented work at the Centre Pompidou, IDFA Doc Lab, and MIT, among other places. As part of MAFI filmmakers, she co-directed Propaganda (2014) and Dios (2019), both of which premiered at Visions du Réel. Her first fiction work, AliEN0089, premiered at Sundance in 2023, where she won the Short Film Special Jury Award, International: Directing.
