Filip Diviak

Filip Diviak is a Slovak film director and animator. He studied animation at Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín. Though he focuses primarily on hand-drawn animation, he also works as an illustrator and designer for the characters and settings. In 2021, he and several other animators set up the Tri Pirogy animation studio in Zlín. His main interest is to tell stories concerning important social topics as seen through the eyes of a child. His previous short films include Awaker (2017), Cloudy (2018), and Sounds Between the Crowns (2020).
