Sixteen-year-old Alex is the only girl on a boys’ ice hockey team coached by her father Michal. She is a tough player who feels little affinity for the world of women. But this all begins to change when she falls in love with one of her teammates and yearns to be seen more like a girl.

Elvíra Dulskaia
Elvira Dulskaia studied editing at FAMU. She currently works as an editor and also directs her own short films. Me, Flamingo (2018) earned her a Pavel Koutecký Award for best Czech short student documentary. She is interested in the subjects of identity, interpersonal relationships, and difficulties communicating.
