Acid Rain
Somewhere in Eastern Europe. When Young runs away from her depressing hometown, she ends up meeting Skinny, a somewhat unstable weirdo who lives in a camper and runs his not-so-legal errands. Their journey gradually leads them towards more and more eerie settings.

Tomek Popakul
Polish director Tomek Popakul graduated in animation from the Łódź Film School. He made a couple of short films – among them his graduation film, the multi-awarded Ziegenort (2013), which was screened at dozens of festivals around the world. He participated in the the Japan Image Council’s Animation Artist in Residence Tokyo 2014 residency program, where he made Black (2016). His third short, Acid Rain (2019), received a Vimeo Award at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and the Grand Prix and Audience Award at Animafest Zagreb 2019, Croatia.
