After seeing his family massacred, a 12-year-old African boy joins an army of freedom fighters. Ordered to detonate two bombs, he discovers his target is a school where children just like him will be arriving shortly.

Mehdi Charef
Mehdi Charef (1952, Algeria) lives in France. In 1985 he adapted his first novel, Le thé au harem d´Archimède, into a feature film. He has written two other novels, Le Harki de Meriem and La maison d´Alexina, and directed the following features: Miss Mona (1987), Camomille (1988), Au pays de Juliets (1992), Marie-Line (2000), La fille de Keltoum (2001).
