17th Pragueshorts Film Festival postponed for 2023

In view of the current pandemic situation in the Czech Republic and our experience from last year’s festival, we have decided to postpone the 17th Pragueshorts Film Festival until the following year. We believe that this step will do the films, filmmakers, and audience a greater service than the search for a compromise solution that would not result in an appropriate presentation of short films and might cause complications for other organizers on the domestic scene. 

The films submitted to this year’s festival will be automatically considered for next year selection.

Thank you very much for your kind understanding of this difficult decision that we have had to make in this complicated time, and we hope that 2023 will offer stable conditions for all, not just the festival.
