The Audience Award goes to Downside Up. Downside Up reveals a world where everyone has Down’s syndrome. Director Peter Ghesquière was born in 1980, in Belgium. He studied at Department Rits in Brussels. His short film "Schijn Van De Maan" was selected for Cannes's official short film competition in 2004. Afterwards, it was screened at a number of other film festivals where it won six awards. With his second short film, "Zondvloed", he won the audience award at the international short film festival in Leuven. In addition to directing commissioned films, he is also assistant director for fiction and non-fiction projects and occasionally shoots commercials.
