Extraordinary stories from popular writer of fantasy Neil Gaiman

You probably know Neil Gaiman, one of the most prominent contemporary fantasy writers, as the author of Sandman, the cult comic book saga. It is not rare to see his works on the screen both in cinema and on TV (Stardust, Coraline, American Gods). In cooperation with HBO and Cinemax, we are presenting a four-part mini-series based on Neil’s shorts stories. Prepare for Neil Gaiman’s Unlikely Stories with a bit of surreal, a bit of gothic and a lot of magical reality.

Quite in line with his other work, this collection is an original and persuasive work of art that will blow your mind. Directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard (Nick Cave: 20 000 Days on Earth), the series stars such names as Tom Hughes, the “next Benedict Cumberbatch” and George MacKay, known for the main role in a BBC adaptation of a Terry Pratchett novel Johny and the Bomb, a role in Pride and another successful film, For Those in Peril, screened at the Karlovy Vary IFF. In 2014, he was nominated for a BAFTA Rising Star Award.
