Michaela Patríková

Michaela Patríková is a graduate of the Department of Sound at FAMU. For the past more than ten years, she has been a member of the sound team at Soundsquare, where she is primarily involved in the post-production of Czech and international projects. In recent years, she has worked on live-action feature films such as She Came at Night (T. Pavlíček, J. Vejnar), Nightsiren (T. Nvotová), and The Painted Bird (V. Marhoul); documentary films, among them I’m Not Everything I Want to Be (K. Tasovská), Art Talent Show (A. Komrzý, T. Bojar), and Intensive Life Unit (A. Komrzý); and last but not least a number of short films, including Neptune (A. Babanová) and Figurant (J. Vejnar). Her work on Nightsiren and She Came at Night earned her nominations for a Czech Lion in the category of Best Sound, and this year she was nominated a third time for her sound work on I’m Not Everything I Want to Be.
