Gábor Osváth

Hungarian film producer Gábor Osváth has numerous live action and animation shorts under his belt, including films by Réka Bucsi, Luca Tóth, Balázs Turai, and most recently the 2023 Cannes Palme d’Or winning 27 by Flóra Anna Buda. His feature films include Lesson Learned (2024) and the Czech-Slovak-Hungarian stop-motion feature Tony, Shelly and the Magic Light (2023). He is also a programmer and managing director at the Friss Hús Budapest International Short Film Festival, Hungary’s first and only Oscar-qualifying film festival. He was named an Emerging Producer in 2016 by the Ji.Hlava International Documentary Film Festival and became a member of the European Film Academy in 2020.
