Petr Šesták

Petr Šesták is a graduate of Charles University’s Faculty of Education. He spent two years living in a converted delivery van crisscrossing Europe with a traveling photography exhibition. He has published various books, including the poetical-philosophical travelogue Kočovná galerie (The Nomadic Gallery, 2014), the short-story collection Štvanice (2015), the novel Kontinuita parku (Continuity in the Park, 2021), the children’s book Cesta je pes (The Road Is a Dog, 2023), and the polemic novel Vyhoření (Burnout, 2023). He currently lives primarily in Prague, operates several photo booths, and organizes cultural events in the south Moravian town of Mikulov.
