Nash Edgerton, Spencer Susser

Nash Edgerton (b. 1973, Australia) has participated on more than a hundred films including Matrix and Star Wars as an actor or stuntman. He is the founding member and leader of Blue-Tongue Films and within the group he is acting, directing, editing and producing. He has made seven short films and one feature film The Square (2008). Spencer Susser (1974) is a director, screenwriter and the only American in otherwise purely Australian Blue-Tongue Films. He has made six short films, the best know being I Love Sarah Jane which was awarded many prizes. His feature film Hesher (2010), co-written with David Michôd as was I Love Sarah Jane, was screened within the competition section at the Sundance festival. The Captain is the first short that they have co-directed.
