It’s Not a Cowboy Movie

Brokeback Mountain was aired on TV last night. Inside the school toilets, Vincent takes advantage of the break to describe the film to his classmate, Moussa. At the same time, in the female bathroom, Jessica who's also been deeply moved by the film bombards her best friend Nadia with awkward questions about her gay father.

Benjamin Parent

Benjamin Parent (b. 1975, France) was raised in the outskirts of Paris. He obtained a degree in cinema at Sorbonne Nouvelle and worked as an assistant on music videos. He then became a copywriter in ad agencies before dedicating his time to writing (including stand up shows) and directing. In 2011, he co-wrote a short film starring Charlotte Rampling entitled The End and selected at the 2012 Berlinale. It´s not a Cowboy Movie is his first short film. He is currently writing is first feature.
