Pentecost

Damian is an altar boy in a church. One day he is called to serve at an important mass and he has to make a tough decision. He has only two options – to submit or to follow his heart and play soccer.

Peter McDonald

Peter McDonald (Ireland) is an actor, writer and director. He has appeared in a number of Irish films over the years including I Went Down, When Brendan Met Trudy and Saltwater for which he won the best actor award at the Irish Film Awards. He also co-starred with Christopher Walken in The Opportunists, which was filmed on location in Sunnyside/Queens. He has appeared in several British films including The Damned United directed by Tom Hooper, Some Voices, and is a regular on British television and the London stage.
Pentecost, his directorial debut, premiered at the Corona Cork Film Festival in November 2010 where it picked up the Best Irish Short Award.
