Ruben Östlund

Ruben Östlund (b. 1974, Sweden) became famous for directing films about skiing in the late 1990’s. In 2004, he made his award-winning feature debut, The Guitar Mongoloid. His second feature, Involuntary (2008), was screened at Cannes in 2008 and received an Oscar nomination for best foreign film the same year. His short film, Incident by a Bank, won the Golden Bear at the 2010 Berlinale. He is currently working of his next feature, Play.
