The film takes viewers from the abstract anatomy and theory of a gag proposed by Vaclav Havel in 1963, to the practical execution of the gag 45 years later.

Josef Abrhám
Josef Abrhám jr. (1977) is a director, scriptwriter and producer. While at school, he made several noteworthy short films including Jak jsem tě poznala (2002), Sonar (2003), and Kopec srandy (2004). Anatomie gagu (The Anatomy of Gag) is his graduation film. He focuses mainly on documentary film and worked on Czech TV’s documentary series Neobyčejné životy.
