Marek Najbrt

Marek Najbrt (1969, Prague) graduated in social sciences from Charles University in Prague. Between 1991 and 1998 he wrote scripts and directed several amateur and professional audio-visual projects, notably Balkóny (1994) and Sedm splněných snů (1996–97), at the Archa theater in Prague. In 2004, he made his feature debut Champions (Mistři), winner of several awards, including three Czech Lions. In 2009, he made his second feature film, Protector (Protektor).
