François Ozon

François Ozon (1967, Paris) graduated in film from Sorbonne and later in film directing from La Femis. While in school, he made several short films screened at many film festivals. His film Summer Dress (1996) won the Grand Prix at Locarno Film Festival and his feature debut Sitcom (1998) premiered at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the Critics’ Week. He has since made nine feature films, most of which have competed at prestigious films festivals.
