Gonzalo Tobal

Gonzalo Tobal (1981) studied Film Directing at Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires and Philosophy and Arts at Universidad de Buenos Aires. He wrote and directed short films To Shut the Lid (2003), and Family Album in Four Instalments (2005), participating at international festivals, the most remarkable being the Berlinale Talent Campus #3 (2005). His recent short film Now everybody seems to be happy (2007), had its world premiere at the Cinéfondation section of the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and was awarded the First prize of Cinéfondation, Festival de Cannes, 2007.
