THE PRAGUE SHORT FILM FESTIVAL IS ALMOST HERE!

The 13th Prague Short Film Festival will once again introduce the best and most inspiring short films from all over the world. Festival screenings will take place in the Světozor and Kino Pilotů cinemas from 17th to 21st January 2018. The Prague Short Film Festival is organized by Film Servis Festival Karlovy Vary, the organizers of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. The programme will include nearly a hundred live-action films, the already traditional international competition – this time divided into four blocks, and various other sections such as Labo or the night-time Brutal Relax Show. Furthermore, the festival will introduce a new addition to its programme – a competition section of Czech short films that came out in the previous year including various accompanying activities such as workshops and a an evening launch event of a new special film collection entitled Czech Short Films published by the Czech Film Center company.  The festival’s rich programme will also include various film selections and retrospectives. And we haven’t forgotten about the little ones either. Parents can take their children to the Bio Oko and Kino Aero cinemas in Prague where we will be screening a selection of the most successful films selected by kids themselves entitled Prague Shorts for Kids.
